Definition
A quantity with both magnitude and direction, drawn as an arrow. In translations it specifies how far and in what direction each point moves.
Examples
- Vector <5, 3> means move 5 right and 3 up.
- The first number is horizontal move; the second is vertical move.
Key rule
A translation vector tells both distance and direction.
