Subtract Fractions

Definition
To take one fraction from another using a common denominator and subtracting numerators.
Examples
- 3/4 - 1/4 = 2/4.
- 5/6 - 1/3 = 5/6 - 2/6 = 3/6.
Key rule
Use a common denominator, then subtract the numerators and keep the denominator.
Memory hook
Same bottom, subtract the tops.
