Round Decimals

Definition
To replace a decimal with a nearby simpler value based on the digit to the right of the rounding place.
Examples
- 3.46 rounds to 3.5 (nearest tenth), since the 6 rounds the 4 up.
- 7.23 rounds to 7.2 (nearest tenth), since the 3 stays down.
Key rule
Look at the digit to the right of the rounding place: 5 or more rounds up.
Memory hook
Five or above, give it a shove; four or below, let it go.
