Definition
Any whole number, its opposite, or zero. Includes ...-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3... Does not include fractions or decimals.
Examples
- -3, 0, 5, -100, and 42 are all integers.
- NOT integers: 1.5, 2/3, 0.7, and the square root of 3.
