Definition
Notation using two prime marks to label a figure's vertices after a second transformation, as in A double prime. It shows the image of an image.
Examples
- A → A' (after first transformation) → A'' (after second).
- Original has no mark; one transformation gets one prime; two get double prime.
Key rule
Each transformation adds one more prime mark.
